Pastor's Bio
Pastor Craig attended Washington State University on an Army ROTC scholarship, graduating in 1993 with a BA in Music. It was during his senior year in college where he came to know Jesus Christ as his savior. After college, Craig served on active duty in the US Army for nearly 5 years as an armor officer. While in the army, Craig surrendered his life to Christ, making Jesus his Lord!
Craig entered into bi-vocational ministry, serving as a Minister of Music in First Baptist Church (San Juan, Texas), while also teaching music in the PSJA school district. It was at FBC San Juan where Craig became a licensed minister, and after nearly 3 years, then became a pastor at First Baptist Church (Santa Rosa, Tx) and then at Arroyo Baptist Chapel (Arroyo City, Tx). After 7 years of bi-vocational ministry, Craig then served for 7 years as a full-time pastor to children and families at FBC Harlingen, where he was ordained in 2006.
In 2013, Craig, his wife of 25 years (Rossy), and their 3 children (Jessica, Jasmine, and Justin) moved to Tegucigalpa, Honduras to serve as missionaries with Academia los Pinares, Escuelas de Esperanza (Schools of Hope), and to be church planters. While in Honduras, Craig was also able to complete his graduate studies with Dallas Baptist University, receiving a Masters of Christian Education (with pastoral leadership).
They returned from Honduras in 2020 and moved to Alice, where Craig and Rossy are currently serving.
